New Zealand Blends

Typically New Zealand is famous for their single varietals but in recent years its their blends which are getting international attention. Popular blend style is Bordeaux-style blends using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Typically Bordeaux  blends come from warmer drier climates, so expect to see blends coming from the Hawke's Bay region.
