The Xinomavro grape can be found growing in central and northern Greece, under the Protected Designation of Origins of Naoussa, Amynteo, Goumenissa, and Rapsani. The essence of the Xinomavro character can be found in the complex, distinct aromas of red fruits, flowers, tomatoes, olives, dried prunes, tobacco, nuts and subtle hints of spices. It is complex and intricate, yet delicate, and an ideal accompaniment to foods with intense and rich flavours.
