Trebbiano is one of the top varieties of Italy and is planted worldwide. It has been grown in Toscana for centuries and in near by France as well where it is known as Ugni Blanc. It is also frequently used for the production of Brandy and balsamic vinegar. Trebbiano white wines are light-bodied and fresh with a high acidity. It is an easy-going variety and is super food friendly. As its quite dry it pairs well with Italian cheeses, seafood pastas and roast chicken.
