Tasting Notes- Green Apple, Honeydew, Pear, Lager, Cream

Synonyms: Serprina, Prosecco Bianco, Proseko Sciprina

A green skinned variety grown predominantly in Veneto and Friuli regions of Italy. Also found in Slovenia and grown in Australia's King Valley. Mainly used to produce sparkling wines either as frizzante (fizzy) or spumante (fully sparkling), but most famously used for Prosecco wines. This varietal has a high acidity, light-bodied and a fairly neutral palate making it ideal for sparklings.
