4th, 5th and 6th June, 2021. From 12 pm
Quinta da Pedra Alta is located in Soutelinho-Favaios, in the Cima Corgo sub region of the Douro Valley, above Portugal's Pinhão River. The property has a long history dating back to at least the late 18th century.
This weekend we're pleased to be sharing their Pedra a Pedra Tinto; an approachable, fruit-driven, structured Portuguese red, made from a blend of indigenous grape varieties grown on the schist soils of Douro's terraced vineyards.
2017 was a warm, dry season, which led to an early harvest. Thanks to the elevation of Quinta da Pedra Alta's vineyards, (250 to 400m asl), and their early picking philosophy, QDPA are able to pick their reds with vibrant flavour, good structure and balanced acidity. Perfect for this weekend's Autumn weather.
