The 2021 Babo Chianti Classico is open to taste or available by the glass from May 30 to June 3. Babo wines are made by Australian winemaker Justin Bubb, who splits his time between Tuscany and Tasmania. The Babo range is focused on iconic wine regions of Italy. This is an amazing value Chianti; it’s smooth and savoury with freshness and juiciness. Half of the wine is made using traditional methods and the other using whole bunch carbonic maceration, which gives the wine a lively, vibrant, and expressive nature on the palate with juicy dark berries, subtle earthiness, tangy red fruits and that classic Sangiovese finish.
