Veneto

Tucked in the north-eastern corner of Italy, Veneto is the countries largest wine producing region, known for the world’s most popular sparkling wine Prosecco and Pinot Grigio. The appellations of Valpolicella and Soave also both making fantastic table and premium wines. The most planted grape in the region is Glera, the grape used to produce Prosecco. Other popular varietals include Garganega, Merlot, and Corvina.
