Tasmania is Australia’s southernmost wine region that includes a horde of differing sub-regions. The cooler climate and variety of soils produces distinct and incredible expressions of Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc, with some smaller plantings of Riesling, Pinot gris and Cabernet Sauvignon. Areas like Pipers River also produce world class sparkling wines.
