Gamay
Primarily grown in Beaujolais, France, Gamay is incredibly delicate with floral aromas, earthy undertones and is very easy to drink. Well suited to cooler climates, the variety is also grown in places such as New Zealand, Canada and Oregon. Light-bodied and highly aromatic, it’s great for an aperitif and it goes magnificently with French cuisine. Riper, fruit-driven new world Gamay goes very well with south-east Asian dishes too.
